Hello, I’m Louise – a qualified earwax removal practitioner and holistic therapist, passionate about helping people feel better in body and mind.
Through Clear Ears by Louise, I offer a mobile earwax removal service, bringing safe, gentle, and effective treatment to you in the comfort of your own home. I’m fully trained and insured, using modern techniques such as microsuction and irrigation to help relieve blocked ears, improve hearing, and restore comfort — without the stress of travelling to a clinic.

Do you really come to my home?
Yes! I offer a fully mobile service – I bring all the equipment and carry out the treatment in your home. You just need a quiet space, a chair, and good lighting (I bring a headlamp too!).
What areas do you cover?
I’m based in Reading and cover Reading, Wokingham & surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether I travel to you, just get in touch.
What method do you use?
I use microsuction (a safe, gentle suction method) and/or warm water irrigation depending on your needs. I’ll assess your ears and choose the safest option.
Is the treatment safe?
Yes – I’m fully trained and insured, and I use professional, medical-grade equipment. Your safety and comfort are always my top priorities.
What should I do before my appointment?
Please use olive oil or an ear softening spray (like Earol) in the affected ear(s) once or twice a day for a few days before your appointment. This helps loosen the wax and makes the removal easier.
How long does the appointment take?
Most home visits take 30–45 minutes, including a consultation and both ears checked and treated if needed.
Do you treat children?
At the moment, I only treat adults (18+). I may offer children’s services in future – feel free to ask for updates.
Can I have someone with me during the appointment?
Of course – a family member, friend or carer is welcome to be there.
